BPJPH PREPARES 25,000 QUOTA FOR MSES

The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religion has again opened applications for free halal certification for MSEs through the Sehati Program (Free Halal Certification). The program that has been launched since 2021 is a collaborative program of the Ministry of Religion's BPJPH with a number of Ministries, institutions, private agencies, local governments, both provincial and regency/city. In 2022 the Sehati Program will be held from March to December 2022 and halal certification will be valid throughout the year.

The Ministry of Religion provides a quota of 25,000 for the facilitation of MSEs who register for the Free Halal Certification Program and are eligible to make a halal self-declaration of their products (Halal Self Declare).

Muhammad Aqil Irham as the Head of BPJPH said that halal certification financing is currently being consolidated with various Mrelated parties. Aqil added that the target in 2022 will be 10 million halal products that can be certified halal.

 

Requirements for applying for Free Halal Certification:

  1. Application letter
  2. Registration form
  3. Legal aspects (Risk-Based NIB)
  4. Halal Supervisory Document ( KTP, Sk Determination, Curriculum Vitae)
  5. List of product and ingredient names
  6. Product processing process
  7. Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) Document
  8. Copy of Halal Certificate (for renewal registration)
  9. Others (distribution permits of BPOM, PIRT and others)

 

How to Register for Free Halal Certification for MSEs Citing the guidelines on the sehati.halal.go.id page, the procedures for registering for the Free Halal Certification (Sehati) program are as follows:

1. Go to the ptsp.halal.go.id page (SIHALAL application)

 2. Create an account and activate the account (register a username and password)

3. Login using the registered username and password

4. Choose the origin of the Domestic business (Entry: NIB)

5. Complete the data of business actors

6. Select "Type of Registration Through Facilitation" and enter the entry code, for example: Code SEHATI21 (facilitation from BPJPH) Code A30XX (facilitation from the Ministry of Cooperatives-SMEs) Code A301XX (facilitation from the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs).

7. Information related to the entry code this year can be asked to the nearest MORA office.

 8. Complete all required documents via the ptsp.halal.go.id page

9. Send documents for submitting halal certification
