Work safety is an effort to create a healthy, safe and comfortable work environment so that it can reduce the probability of work accidents or diseases due to negligence that can harm work productivity. K3 is regulated in Government Regulation No.50 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System in Article 1 paragraph 2.

Hazards from work safety from regulatory tube leaks can trigger explosions and cause fires. The trigger of the explosion of the regulator gas cylinder is due to a mixture of gas, oxygen and heat that causes a leak of the tube collected in a closed room.
In terms of Health, LPG gas cylinder leaks cause health problems such as gas poisoning. Usually common symptoms of gas poisoning such as irritation of the throat, head dizziness, respiratory disorders, to cause unconsciousness. If around you experience poisoning due to leaking LPG gas, immediately evacuate in a place with good air circulation. If you experience severe symptoms, immediately take it to the hospital.
Counter measures in case of gas leaks include:
- Open doors and windows for smooth air circulation
- Do not turn on the stove
- Unplug the regulator and bring the LPG tube to the open room
- Keep LPG tubes away from fire sources
- Leave the electricity in the last position.
If the regulatory tube appears sparks, which can be done by the community by:
- Don't panic. If we overcome something with a panic situation then we will find it difficult to cope.
- Do fire extinguishing using burlap sacks, doormats or wet cloths or with powder or CO2 type fire extinguishers
- Remove the regulator from the tube immediately
- Immediately bring the tube into the open and keep it away from the source of the fire
