Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra (Yayasan Astra) officially celebrated its 46th Anniversary in a hybrid ceremony held at the YDBA Gallery, Jakarta. Carrying the theme “Synergizing for a Cross-Generational Future of Indonesian MSMEs,” the event marked more than four decades of Yayasan Astra’s journey in accompanying Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
A number of strategic stakeholders attended the celebration in person, including the Director General of IKMA, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Reni Yanita M.Si; Deputy for Medium Enterprises, Ministry of MSMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Bagus Rachman S.E., M.Ec., represented by the Assistant Deputy for Production and Digitalization of Medium Enterprises, Refani Anwar Aziz; Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, Gita Tiffani Boer and her team; Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors, Ivan Budiarnawan; Chairperson of Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, Rahmat Samulo and his team; Advisor Tonny Sumartono; Astra Group leaders, fostered partners, incubators, and MSME partners of Yayasan Astra.
Over Four Decades of Empowering Indonesian MSMEs
In her remarks, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Gita Tiffani Boer expressed gratitude for the achievements made over 46 years of dedication. “46 years is no short time. For more than four decades, Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra has been a trusted partner for thousands of small and medium enterprise owners across Indonesia, accompanying them to grow, develop, and move up the ladder,” said Gita Tiffani Boer.

Three Strategic Collaboration Ceremonies
As a tangible expression of the foundation’s commitment to synergy, the 46th Anniversary of Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra featured three strategic collaboration ceremonies that further strengthen the national MSME development ecosystem.
1. Collaboration with the Ministry of Industry – Link and Match Program
The first ceremony featured the handover of automotive component samples from representatives of Tier-1 companies to fostered Small and Medium Industries (SMIs). The procession was witnessed by six Brand Agent Holders (APM) of the Astra Group: PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia, PT Astra Honda Motor, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, and PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. Supported by the Ministry of Industry, the Link and Match Program aims to connect SMIs with the supply chains of large industries in a more systematic and sustainable manner.
2. Collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs – Training of Trainers (ToT) Program
The second ceremony included the presentation of ToT Batch 1 certificates to three fostered incubators, witnessed by the Assistant Deputy for Production and Digitalization of Medium Enterprises, Refani Anwar Aziz, and Representative of the Deputy for Entrepreneurship Incubation and Digitalization, Kementerian UMKM RI, Ima Rahmania. This was followed by a commitment signing by representatives of ToT Batch 2 participants from Holding UMKM. The program is designed to expand MSME mentoring capacity through an incubator network across Indonesia, enabling a broader reach of empowerment impact to more business actors.
3. Collaboration of Fostered Workshops with Astra Group – HBBA Appreciation
The third ceremony was a presentation of appreciation plaques from Yayasan Astra to the Association of Astra-Fostered Workshops (HBBA) in recognition of their commitment and contribution to collaborating with various Astra Group entities. This collaboration encompasses various forms of business partnership, witnessed by representatives of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), PT Astra International Tbk – Daihatsu Sales Operation (DSO), PT Astra International Tbk – Isuzu Sales Operation (ISO), PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AOP), and PT Astra Digital Mobil (OLX).
Cross-Generational Collaboration Talkshow
The event also featured a talkshow session themed “Cross-Generational Collaboration”, presenting Brand Ambassadors and Next Generation representatives of Yayasan Astra from two MSME sectors. From the manufacturing sector, the first and second generations of CV Kawani Tekno Nusantara (Bandung), Yadi T. Nugraha and M. Amjad Ram Nugraha, shared their journey as an independent MSME since 2024, now managed by the second generation. From the culinary sector, the first and second generations of PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi (Bogor), Juhana and Lita, showcased their story since being mentored in 2024, with the second generation having carried out various product and marketing innovations. The stories of these two MSMEs stand as tangible proof of the success of Yayasan Astra’s cross-generational mentoring model.
Astra’s Commitment to Indonesia
Gita Tiffani Boer affirmed that Astra’s commitment to empowering MSMEs is a manifestation of the Catur Dharma Astra, particularly its first tenet: “To be an asset that is beneficial to the nation and the state.”
“Let us make this 46th Anniversary a springboard to go further, synergize more closely, and make a greater impact. Together, let us realize Indonesian MSMEs that are resilient, independent, and globally competitive,” concluded Gita Tiffani Boer.
