On Thursday, 21 May 2026, the Director General of Small and Medium Industries and Miscellaneous (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenperin RI), Ir. This visit represents a tangible manifestation of synergy between the government and Yayasan Astra in driving the growth of national SMIs, in line with the theme of Yayasan Astra's 46th Anniversary: "Synergizing for the Future Across Generations of Indonesian MSMEs." PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi was selected as an example of the success of Yayasan Astra's mentorship model, which has been guiding this SMI since 2024, resulting in increased production capacity, improved product quality, and expanded market reach.
PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi is part of thousands of SMIs fostered by Yayasan Astra operating in the culinary sector – specifically in the processing of dairy products and their derivatives, including Yess Yoghurt, mozzarella cheese, pasteurized milk, and milk candy. Since joining the Yayasan Astra mentorship ecosystem in 2024, BSN has participated in a series of training and mentoring programs covering Basic Mentality, 5R (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), Quality Assurance Chain, Branding & Packaging, Business Community, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action), and Marketing programs that continue through 2026.
Strengthening SMI Competitiveness through Strategic Synergy
During the visit, Director General IKMA Ir. Reni Yanita, M.Si. directly observed PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi's production process, which has met the standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. The visit also served as an opportunity for evaluation and appreciation of the SMI's progress in successfully reaching the market through various distribution channels, ranging from resellers and Bogor specialty souvenir shops, to the Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG).
This visit is also part of the Link and Match program supported by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, aligned with Yayasan Astra's commitment to connect its assisted SMIs with broader supply chains and industrial ecosystems. This synergy serves as concrete evidence of the alignment of vision between Yayasan Astra and the government in driving SMIs to level up and remain competitive at the national and global stage.
Secretary of Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, Ema Poedjiwati Prasetio, stated, "The visit of the Director General of IKMA to PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi is a very meaningful moment, not only for BSN, but also for the entire SMI mentoring ecosystem we have built over 46 years. This is proof that with consistent mentoring and cross-stakeholder synergy, Indonesian SMIs are capable of growing, developing, and being recognized by the state."
PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi itself is a successful example of a cross-generational mentorship model that is a source of pride for Yayasan Astra. The first and second generations of BSN, Juhana and Lita, have appeared as Brand Ambassadors and Next Generation representatives of Yayasan Astra at the 46th Anniversary celebration, bringing a spirit of innovation that continues to drive the growth of this family business.
Shared Commitment for Indonesian SMIs
Entering its 46th year, Yayasan Astra continues to strengthen its synergy with various ministries and strategic stakeholders, including the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. This collaboration is realized through various concrete programs, from the Link and Match Program to connect SMIs with the supply chains of large industries, to the Training of Trainer (ToT) Program to expand SMI mentoring capacity across Indonesia.
The visit to PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi serves as a real symbol of the spirit of synergy – that the growth of Indonesian SMIs is a shared responsibility that requires close collaboration between the government, the business world, and SMI development organizations such as Yayasan Astra – Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra.
