To improve understanding and invite members of the advance club fostered by the Astra Foundation - Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation to implement a company culture that can have an impact on business development, Astra through the Astra Foundation together with PT Astra International Tbk - Lexus Sales Operation (Lexus Menteng Gallery) collaborated to hold an executive sharing with the theme "Company Culture to Enhance Business Sustainability".
The executive sharing activity which was held specifically for advance club members on July 2, 2025 was held in a hybrid manner and was attended by more than 200 advance club members spread across several regions, including Jabodetabek, Lebak Banten, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and NTT. The Advance Club itself is fostered by the Astra Foundation - Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation, which has become independent and has taken on a fostering role. This activity is a special activity held to strengthen engagement between Astra and advanced club members. Previously, a similar activity was held at the end of 2024 by discussing the importance of navigating change for business sustainability.
Present as speakers in this executive sharing session were the Vice President of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (PT ADM), Erlan Krisnaring Cahyono; the Chief Executive of PT Astra International Tbk – Lexus Sales Operation (Lexus Menteng Gallery), Erwin Himawan; and the owner of one of the advanced club members, PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha, Isep Gojali. The three speakers shared their experiences and perspectives on the importance of understanding in building a company culture, how to build a company culture, and its correlation to employee engagement, which has an impact on the development of the company. Best practices for implementing company culture were also shared by the three speakers: the company culture implemented at PT ADM, Lexus-Astra, and PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha.
Chairman of the Astra Foundation – Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation, Rahmat Samulo in his speech said that company culture is an important highlight on how a company can create competent people, be involved in creating positive performance, support company productivity, create a company identity (vision, mission, value), build and maintain a positive culture that will provide long-term benefits for the organization and all team members. Therefore, Samulo hopes that the three speakers who attended the executive sharing can be a motivator for the members of the advanced club to better understand and be able to apply the company culture for the sustainability of the business being run. Erwin Himawan, in his speech, said that this executive sharing reflects the corporate culture that has long been the foundation in the Astra Group environment, namely the spirit to always give the best, to be able to grow together, and to be of benefit to the wider community. At Lexus, Erwin believes that true luxury lies not only in products, but in values — values such as sincerity, collaboration, and omotenashi. Through this executive sharing, Lexus also wants to continue to instill a work culture that prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and social concern, like a shady tree, rooted in values and providing benefits and coolness to the surrounding environment.
