
In implementing the entrepreneurship pillar, Astra through its Business Group and foundations, also contributes to implementing MSME development so that it can move up a class, and become independent and sustainable. This is in line with the realization of Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations, especially the Community Development aspiration, where Astra aspires to reach up to 2.5 million people by 2030, currently reaching 2.37 million people.
To expand Astra's contribution to developing MSMEs, Astra through the Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation (YDBA), PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) and PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (PT SMM) established the Hadaduhup Itah Parajakian Business Development Agency (LPB) in North Barito, Central Kalimantan which plays a role in implementing MSME development programs, starting from training, mentoring, marketing facilitation and financing facilitation.
The inauguration of the LPB itself was carried out on February 5, 2025, attended by the Department Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Pama, Maidi Irvan; Dept. Head of CSR PT SMM, Abdul Syukur; Dept. Head of Strategic Planning & Sustainability YDBA, Edison Monoarfa; Secretary of the Manpower, Transmigration, Cooperatives, and SMEs Office of North Barito, Sampurnamurni Yati, SKM,.M.Kes; Head of Teweh Tengah District, North Barito Regency, Jati Prayogo and Representative of Teweh Selatan District, Robi Sugara, SE;
Previously, from July 2023 to December 2024, Astra through YDBA, Pama, and PT SMM has provided coaching programs to 161 MSMEs in the culinary, agriculture, livestock, stingless bee honey, and fisheries sectors. Some of these coaching programs include Basic Mentality Training in Entrepreneurship, Technical Training in Livestock & Silage Making, Business Licensing Assistance, Socialization of Food Safety and Business Licensing (PIRT & NIB), Biofloc System Tilapia Marketing Benchmark and other programs.
The Chairman of the YDBA Management, Rahmat Samulo separately said that the establishment of LPB Hadaduhup Itah Parajakian by YDBA, Pama, and PT SMM shows Astra's seriousness and commitment in developing MSMEs in the country. Samulo hopes that the LPB can support MSMEs in North Barito to develop with a mindset as entrepreneurs who are committed and consistent in producing QCD (quality, cost, delivery) products. So that it can lead these MSMEs to move up a class with a large industrial business scale.
Furthermore, in his remarks at the inauguration of the LPB, the Department Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Pama, Maidi Irvan said that LPB Hadaduhup Itah Parajakian will be a bridge for MSME actors to get the resources they need, including access to the latest technology and innovation. With the LPB, it is hoped that LPB can encourage MSMEs to create more jobs and improve the quality of life of the surrounding community.
While the Dept. Head of CSR PT SMM, Abdul Syukur hopes that LPB Hadaduhup Itah Parajakian can encourage its fostered MSMEs to have wider market access. Especially for superior products, such as stingless bee honey products, compost fertilizer, and fisheries businesses in North Barito Regency. Abdul Syukur also hopes that LPB formed by Pama, PT SMM, and YDBA can contribute to improving the economy of MSMEs in the region.
