Astra through YDBA Wins the Most Committed Award in Developing MSMEs in Indonesia

Jakarta - On June 29, 2024, Astra through the Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation (YDBA) won the Most Committed award in MSME Development in Indonesia at the 2024 Bina Mitra UMKM Award held by the Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD) Foundation at the Binakarna Hall, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta. The award was won by YDBA thanks to its contribution and active role in developing its fostered MSMEs.

In this event, YDBA also received a Platinum award for the MSME Development category, followed by 3 fostered MSMEs which also won Platinum awards for the MSME category in the production & services sector.

In the competition, YDBA shared its experiences in carrying out development and its impact on MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in the manufacturing, agriculture and culinary sectors. In this competition, YDBA also included 3 of its fostered MSMEs, including PT Bimuda Karya Teknik, Bengkel Anugerah Prima Motor and PT Lubna Food Indonesia, which conveyed their business descriptions and improvements in developing their respective businesses.

PT Bimuda Karya Teknik is a Manufacturing MSME fostered by YDBA from Tegal that is active and has succeeded in becoming part of the supply chain of a large industry. Thanks to its consistency and commitment in carrying out coaching, as well as its enthusiasm for making improvement a work culture, this MSME founded by Tri Sukamto has succeeded in receiving a Platinum award at the 2024 Bina Mitra UMKM Award competition.

Bengkel Anugerah Prima Motor is one of the 4-wheeled workshops fostered by YDBA located in Klaten, Central Java. The workshop, which was established in 2001, has succeeded in implementing the standards that exist in official workshops in general. Its improvements in increasing production quality and innovation have made the workshop receive a Platinum award in the competition held by the CFCD Foundation.

PT Lubna Food Indonesia is one of the culinary sector MSMEs fostered by PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama) together with YDBA which is located in Sangatta, East Kalimantan. The business which was established in 2012 continues to develop its business with various products, ranging from pastries, bakery, desserts, market snacks to various cookie variants that are in great demand by its customers. The trend of increasing Lubna's income and decreasing rejections as a result of improvements in its business, made Lubna one of the MSMEs that received the Platinum award from the 2024 Bina Mitra UMKM Award competition.

The Chairperson of the YDBA Management, Rahmat Samulo, who was present to receive the award at this event, said that the appreciation given to Astra through YDBA and the 3 MSMEs it fosters is expected to be a motivation and encourage other MSMEs to continue to make improvements consistently.
