COLLABORATION OF YDBA, ASTRA FINANCIAL, SANF, AND ASTRA VENTURA IN STRENGTHENING MSME FINANCING

Jakarta – We all know that MSMEs are one of the sectors that supports the economy in Indonesia. Apart from the competency and market facilitation factors that MSMEs need in running their business, financing facilitation is an equally important factor in supporting the progress of these MSMEs.

Astra through the Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation (YDBA) together with Astra Financial, PT Astra Mitra Ventura (Astra Ventura) and PT Surya Artha Nusantara Finance (SANF) collaborate in meeting the needs of MSMEs regarding the financing facilitation required by YDBA-assisted MSMEs.

The financing collaboration has been carried out by YDBA, Astra Ventura and SANF since August 2023, which currently involves 17 YDBA-assisted manufacturing MSMEs with a financing value of more than 35 billion. The financing program itself was symbolically carried out by representatives of MSMEs, namely PT Namura Tehnik Sejahtera and PT Bimuda Karya Teknik who succeeded in obtaining financing from Astra Ventura and SANF.

The symbolic handover of financing was given by the Director of Astra Ventura, Armaji Sayoko and the Finance Director of SANF, Handy Hartono, witnessed by the Special Staff of the Minister for Law, Cooperative Supervision and Financing, Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Santoso; Transport Equipment IKM Coordinator, Directorate General of IKMA, Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Irvan Kuswardana, S.T., M.M. and Chairman of the YDBA Management, Sigit P. Kumala. Also present representing Astra Financial was the President Director of Astra Ventura, Supriyanto.

Agus Santoso in the ceremony held on December 19 2023 at YDBA Jakarta appreciated YDBA's collaboration with Astra Financial, Astra Ventura and SANF. Agus also said that previously the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs through the Revolving Fund Management Institute (LPDB) had collaborated with YDBA, especially in the Tegal area. Agus hopes that through collaboration and the ecosystem that has been formed, it can strengthen financing for MSMEs, thereby supporting the progress of MSMEs in Indonesia.

In line with Agus Santoso, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, through the Transportation Equipment IKM Coordinator, Directorate General of IKMA, expressed his appreciation regarding the collaboration that supports the progress of automotive IKM through this financing service. The Indonesian Ministry of Industry also expressed its appreciation to YDBA for its never-ending efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of automotive SMEs through synergistic and sustainable assistance. The Ministry of Industry hopes that support from all parties (both government and private) to expand access to financing for automotive SMEs can help ease the steps for automotive SMEs to move up in class, and ultimately strengthen the competitiveness of the automotive industry in Indonesia.

Supriyanto representing Astra Financial said that Astra Financial is committed to carrying out continuous innovation, especially regarding financing for MSMEs. Astra Financial through Astra Ventura and SANF collaborates with YDBA to strengthen the Astra ecosystem in financing MSMEs with added value, namely the development of MSMEs carried out by YDBA.

Sigit P. Kumala in this collaboration said that in line with the MSME development program carried out by Astra through YDBA, YDBA continues to strive to develop MSMEs to advance in class, be independent and sustainable. Apart from training programs, mentoring and marketing facilitation, YDBA is also concerned with financing facilitation that supports the development of the MSMEs it fosters. In carrying out financing facilitation, YDBA continues to strive to collaborate with financial institutions that have goals and visions that are in line with YDBA, not just providing loans, but also how these financial institutions are able to support MSMEs in running their business.

Through this collaboration, Sigit hopes that this financing program for MSMEs can support MSMEs to meet their business needs, both in terms of production, marketing and process improvement which is truly useful for advancing the businesses run by MSMEs. In the future, Sigit also hopes that this collaborative financing program will not only be open to MSMEs in the manufacturing sector, but also the culinary, craft and agricultural sectors. So that it can support the transformation of MSMEs in this sector into modern industries that support the economy in Indonesia.

Collaboration ceremony activities were also enlivened by a mini talk show which was resourced by the Secretary of the YDBA Management, Ema Poejiwati; SANF Finance Director, Handy Hartono; Director of Astra Ventura, Armaji Sayoko and Director of PT Bimuda Karya Teknik, Tri Sukamto. Ema, Handy and Armaji believe that this collaboration can strengthen a beneficial ecosystem and make it easier for MSMEs to continue to progress, advance to class, be independent and sustainable for MSMEs. This was also felt by Tri Sukamto, one of the MSMEs who received this collaborative financing program. Tri conveyed the extraordinary benefits of this financing facilitation which ultimately supports increased turnover for Tri's business.
