Director General of Small, Medium, and Multifarious Industries Appreciates the Innovation of Trilili Dolls Fostered by Yayasan Astra

A strategic working visit was conducted by the Director General of Small, Medium, and Multifarious Industries from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Reni Yanita, M.Si, to the production facility of CV Triangsa Mandiri located in Gunung Putri, Bogor. This visit is a form of appreciation and direct monitoring of the rapid development experienced by business actors fostered by Yayasan Astra - Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, further referred to as Yayasan Astra. CV Triangsa Mandiri is known as a manufacturer of children toys and dolls that has proven exceptional ability in expanding its business scale while providing a positive impact on the economy of the surrounding community.

The business journey of CV Triangsa Mandiri, led by Tri Nurwati, began in 2017 on a very simple scale. During its early operational period, the company only employed 10 local residents. However, thanks to perseverance and targeted business strategies, the company managed to achieve highly significant growth.

Currently, the increased capacity for labor absorption has empowered 33 local employees. This increase in the workforce demonstrates the company commitment to continuous growth and tangible contribution to reducing unemployment rates in the Gunung Putri area and its surroundings. The presence of this business has truly brought a change in the standard of living for dozens of families who now rely on the production of high-quality dolls.

One of the main pillars behind the success of CV Triangsa Mandiri is the courage to innovate products and ensure business legality. The company has taken a smart step by registering Intellectual Property Rights for their proud trademark, Trilili. Under the umbrella of the Trilili brand, the production focus is directed toward creating various animal character dolls that are highly popular among both children and adults. The marketing strategy implemented is also very specific and has successfully penetrated a promising market niche. Trilili animal doll products have now reached various strategic tourist destinations and leading zoos across the archipelago. Product placement in tourist areas has proven to be an effective step that not only drastically increases sales figures but also broadens brand recognition among domestic consumers and foreign tourists. This tactical step makes the Trilili brand stronger in the minds of consumers as an attractive and educational souvenir choice.

The success in penetrating the tourism market must certainly be balanced with capable product quality and excellent factory operational standards. As a business entity fostered by Yayasan Astra, CV Triangsa Mandiri consistently implements the 5S work culture, which includes Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain, across all production areas. The implementation of this work culture ensures production efficiency while maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment for all employees on duty. Furthermore, the commitment to consumer safety and comfort, especially for children, is proven by obtaining the Indonesian National Standard Certificate for all marketed product lines. This certification serves as an absolute guarantee that every doll that reaches consumers has passed a series of very strict feasibility and safety tests, starting from the selection of raw materials, the sewing process, to the final finishing stage.

The working visit from the ministry ranks is expected to be a valuable momentum to further stimulate the enthusiasm of local business actors to continue innovating and improving competitiveness in a broader market. The extraordinary achievement made by CV Triangsa Mandiri proves that with well-targeted assistance, innovation relevant to market needs, and a commitment to quality, domestic products can stand out as national pride and drive the economy from the very basic level. Going forward, it is hoped that more resilient entrepreneurs will emerge who are capable of replicating this footprint of success to realize sustainable and inclusive national industrial independence.
